‘Delate II’ - (2020) - 58cm x 58cm

‘Delate II’ is part of Tony Daley's 2020 Solitude Series. While being contained to his studio in London for months during the national lockdown, and being cut off from his artistic and social circle, he was contemplating freedom and unity, and the contrast of freedom and imprisonment. His colour scheme is hued and almost sensual, anticipating the release and a beginning of a new era. Despite the entirety of COVID, Tony has continued painting every day.
